How to See Saved WiFi Password on Windows 7, 8, & 10

Do you want to See Saved WiFi Password ? Are you still using the WiFi password that is written on the back of the router your ISP gave you? If so, it’s probably some really long combination of letters, numbers and symbols that you can never remember.

Most people try to write the password down somewhere or simply check on the router every time they need to give it to someone else. Luckily, if you already have a computer or Laptop connected with your WiFi network, you can easily view the password there.

In this article I am going to tell you how you can See Saved WiFi password if your Laptop or PC is already connected with it. Note the procedure is same for Windows 7,8 & 10. In this article we will not talk about mac. I will post a separate article on that.

See Saved WiFi Password in Windows Computer?

If you want to view the WiFi password on your Windows computer, you need to make sure you are already connected to the WiFi network or have previously connected with the WiFi network. If so, then go ahead and right-click on the WiFi icon in the system tray and choose Open Network and Sharing Center. You can also Open Network and Sharing Center by going through the Control Panel and Network and Internet.



After opening Network and Sharing Center Double click on your connected WiFi and open it. And you will see a new pop-up window will open in front of you. like this…



Now what you need to do is open this Wireless Properties. So double click on this Wireless properties and open it. A new window will pop-up in front of you like this…



Now you just need to click on the Security section & see that coming. Hehe here is your WiFi’s password. so what you need to do is check this box below the password section and see the password of your WiFi.
